Craig Woodward

Craig WoodwardCraig Woodward is a native of White Plains, New York. He grew up on Lake Street AKA “The Valley” where his love and respect for community developed. After he graduated from White Plains High School, he attended SUNY Buffalo and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Craig continued his educational endeavors and earned an MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University. He is a member of the National Black MBA Association’s WGC Chapter and chaired the Scholarship Committee from 2006 – 2010. In that role, Craig worked to establish relationships with community organizations and educational institutions to promote scholarships on the high school, undergraduate and MBA level.

Craig is an active member Calvary Baptist Church in White Plains, NY. He serves on the Deacon’s Ministry, Sunday School Teacher to youth boys and girls, and is a part of the Men’s Ministry. Also, Craig is a member of the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. where he serves as Co-Chair of their Kappa League Leadership Mentoring Program. Currently, Craig is the Associate Director of Graduate Student Services of the King Graduate School at Monroe College where he advises students across six graduate degree programs.

Reflecting back on his time spent at the White Plains Youth Bureau was memorable. His time spent there while growing up allowed him to build friendships, have fun, and begin to take inventory of his talents and skills that would help him along life’s journey. He is truly thankful for discovering the White Plains Youth Bureau and their staff while taking advantage of all that it had to offer.
