Rev. Harold R. Jolley, M. Div.

Reverend Harold R. Jolley is a native of White Plains. Harold was fortunate to attend private school during his early educational rearing and later enrolled into the White Plains Public School system, participating in numerous programs held at the White Plains Youth Bureau. These programs assisted Harold in developing his interpersonal skills, prepared him with job readiness skills, allowed him to engage in community service, and exposed him to institutions of higher education. As a result of this exposure, Harold decided to attend Lincoln University, PA.
A few years after graduating from Lincoln University, Harold returned to work at the Youth Bureau in the Youth Employment Services department. There he was afforded the opportunity to educate and equip youth within the community, which prepared them for the work force. Harold later attended Drew University’s Theological School where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree. At the present time Harold is engaged in the work of ministry full time, as he has been serving as the Pastor/Teacher of the Second Macedonia Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA.
During his tenure at Second Macedonia, the church has undergone restructuring in administration, ministry engagement, and in their efforts of community mission’s outreach. Harold owes his passion for outreach and serving the community to the White Plains Youth Bureau. Harold continues to transcend racial lines and fights for and assists people who sufferers from racial injustice and works to aide in their spiritual development. Whenever asked to describe himself and his purpose in ministry, Harold informs everyone that he uses God’s divinely inspired word, life experiences, his gifts of teaching, preaching, and counseling to equip the saints for the work of ministry.
