& Wellness
The Institute for Health & Wellness (IFHW) is committed to supporting the physical, social and emotional development of young people. The IFHW, therefore, provides programming covering the 8 dimensions of wellness – physical, emotional, social, environmental, intellectual, spiritual, financial, and occupational – to ensure optimal health. Additionally, we work with the community coalitions to provide programs and events that help to increase access to health & wellness services and resources.
Guiding Youth Toward Healthy Lifestyle Choices
The Institute for Health and Wellness provides prevention services aimed at reducing and eliminating risky behaviors and illicit substance use.
Red Ribbon Week
A week-long celebration of the power of positive youth development and the positive choices White Plains youth are making everyday.
The Project Hope Learning Center at Ferris Avenue
The Project Hope Learning Center provides a Community-based After School Program for Elementary School-aged children on Ferris Avenue in White Plains' historic Battle Hill neighborhood.
