About Us
Friends of White Plains Youth Bureau (FoWPYB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to raise funds from individuals, businesses and endowments in order to make significant contributions to support the work of the White Plains Youth Bureau.
Our organization’s goal is to support the activities and programs of the White Plains Youth Bureau through fundraising efforts and initiatives. In doing so, the Friends of White Plains Youth Bureau has the larger goal of helping the young people of White Plains develop into healthy and productive adults who, in turn, give back to their community, improving the civic health of the wonderful city of White Plains.

For every child of the city of White Plains to have access to reach their potential.
Ways of Giving
1. Donations via Check
The gift you make today will help us to provide children and youth ages 5 through 24, with the tools they need to become good citizens, and to the skills needed to become competent leaders of the 21st century.
2. Matching Gifts
Your gift to FofWPYB may have an even greater impact if your employer matches charitable donations.
3. Gifts of Stock
Giving stock that has been held more than 12 months, offers a two-fold savings: you may claim a tax-deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift, and you will not have to pay taxes on capital gains.
4. Tribute Gifts
Make traditional gift-giving occasions particularly meaningful by supporting activities and programs of the White Plains Youth Bureau. Whether it is Mother’s/Father’s Day, a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other occasion, consider asking those who are celebrating with you to give a donation to FoWPYB in lieu of gifts.
5. Bequests
A bequest through your will allows you to designate a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate to the FoWPYB. A bequest showcases your values to your heirs and can reduce the amount of your taxable estate, which may increase the actual amount available to loved ones.
6. Memorial and Honorary Gifts
If you have a family member or friend whose life has been touched by the White Plains Youth Bureau, we hope you will consider making a gift to FoWPYB in honor of that person.
