Jason Alan Roberts Sr.

Jason A. Roberts, Sr.Jason Alan Roberts Sr. has dedicated his life to serving, inspiring and working to ensure that students from all walks of life reach their potential to be leaders in the 21st century. Born into a family of educators, a commitment to academic excellence was instilled into him from a young age.

Mr. Roberts currently serves as a School Counselor at the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering, an award winning Magnet school located in Stamford, CT. During his career, he has helped to build a dynamic counseling program that offers students the ability to develop their academic talents, foster strong social skills and cultivate emotional intelligence. Through his diligence and hard work, he has received awards from the Stamford Public Schools Board of Education, United States ARMY and Yale University.

Having been a part of the White Plains Youth Bureau’s Great Potential program throughout his 4 years in High School, Jason is inspired to give back and mentor in his community. As the Program Coordinator for the Clubmen Higher AIMS (White Plains) program, he assists students in grades 6 – 12 with developing their educational goals, along with broadening their cultural understanding of African Americans contributions to American Society.

Jason is a member of Prince Hall Masonry, currently an active member of Bright Hope Lodge #62 located in White Plains, NY. Mr. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from SUNY Albany. He earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in school leadership from SUNY New Paltz.
