Dr. Nicole Boykin is a 2001 graduate of White Plains High School. Her first work experience was through the White Plains Youth Bureau. For several summers, she worked at the Youth Bureau as a camp counselor. For her work at the Youth Bureau and as a scholar-athlete, Nicole received a Youth Bureau Achievement Award. She was a stellar long-distance runner in high school, becoming the 2000 NY State Cross Country Champion. After graduating high school, she attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), where she continued to run cross country and track. In addition to being a student-athlete, Nicole served as a Residential Advisor and volunteer at UNC Children’s Hospital. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

After UNC-CH, Nicole earned her first Master’s Degree in Psychology at New York University. Nicole earned her second Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Clinical-Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology (Yeshiva University). She completed her post-doctorate fellowship at The Renaissance Centre in Albany, GA. Nicole returned to NY where she currently works as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an evaluation clinic at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in Brooklyn, NY. (Nicole is licensed in both New York and Georgia). In 2017, Nicole was inducted into the White Plains High School inaugural Sports Hall of Fame class.

Nicole is a member of Union Baptist Church in White Plains, NY. She is a Board Member of Focus Our Future, Inc., a non-profit which assists student-athletes reach their potential. Nicole continues to be an avid runner. When she is not running, Nicole enjoys sports, dancing and attending cultural events.
