Daniel Jones

Daniel JonesDaniel started attending Youth Bureau events when he was in Eastview Middle School. Daniel would go downstairs to the Youth Bureau and was a participant in after school and evening activities. He participated in the Summer Employment’s Entrepreneurship Program and stayed involved with summer youth employment every summer up through high school. Daniel also provided DJ services at various Youth Bureau events and was happy to donate his time wherever it was needed. He had incredible support from the Youth Bureau staff throughout his most important years.

Daniel is now a New York State Paramedic and is employed with the Fire Department of the City of New York and works in the Bronx. Daniel has always felt a desire to help people in need and he is able to do this every day with his career.

According to Daniel, the Youth Bureau helped mold him into the caring and compassionate man he is today. The Youth Bureau gave him the strength he needed to get through the ups and downs in life.

Daniel now has an 8 year old daughter who is enrolled in the Youth Bureau’s summer camp. He can’t wait for her to experience all the programs the Youth Bureau has to offer and that will help mold her into an amazing woman.
